Version indv0.1.18: Ambiance, AI and UI

Welcome, Explorers!

We just finished the latest update for  Nature's Ascendancy, and this one brings several exciting features and enhancements to help elevate your gameplay experience. The new INDV 0.1.18 version comes with enhanced visuals, redesigned save system, and more!

DLSS, FidelityFX, and Enhanced Visual Options

One of the most important improvements in this regard is the reintroduction of DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) after stability issues and the introduction of Fidelity FX, bringing breathtaking improvements in graphical performance and quality. Combined with an array of new visual options, you will now be able to fine-tune how the game looks and feels according to both your system's capabilities and your very own preferences.

Key Features:

- DLSS & FidelityFX Integration : Smoother run of the game at better rates as AI supported rendering technologies directly come to fit your system.

- Advanced Graphics Settings : A suite of extra graphics options for fine tuning - right from the texture of snow to crisp shadowing, this will certainly provide additional control over the visual fidelity of the game.

All-New Save System & Menu UI

We've redesigned the save system and menu interface to make it much easier and more intuitive to navigate your way through the game. The new UI is slick, responsive, and keeps you truly immersed in the game world.

Key Features:

Save System Revamp: The newly designed save system allows for more reliable saving and loading of progress with the game handeling saving and loading according to your prefernces.

Improved Menu UI: Main menu and in-game interfaces have been reworked for a better flow, with much cleaner layouts and more accessibility to make your experience even better.

Dynamic Ambient Music

Continuing from our path of enriching the atmosphere, the dynamic ambient music system has been finally integrated for an immersive audio experience. Music seamlessly merges with every biome and level of threat, pulling you deeper into the world as you explore.

Improved Collection System

We have polished the collection mechanics by replacing the temporary hitbox system with an raycast system, wich has been recently enabled as of our switch to first person only. The gathering of resources feels even more responsive and satisfyingly accurate.

New Creatures & Behavior Improvements

Dive into an increasingly complex ecosystem with new creatures and refined behaviors of wildlife. They now react to dynamic situations much more 'unpredictably', and based on eternal factors, and make your encounters far more exciting and diverse.

Implemented Oxygen System

A new oxygen system adds another layer of survival strategy. More customization is en route that will give you deeper upgrades and new ways of traversing the world.

Crafting Recipe Modding

We just made crafting a whole lot more flexible! Recipes can now be modified at runtime and/or pulled from a configuration file, which allows for some pretty cool modding and dynamic changes based on game progression, upgrades, and what materials you have.

Final Thoughts

This update inches Nature's Ascendancy one step closer to the immersive, breathtaking experience we imagine it could be, and we hope to be able to gather feedback from our coming beta tests soon!
